Alamo Heights, TX — May 6, 2024, a woman was injured in a pedestrian versus hit-and-run car accident at approximately 2:30 a.m. along Austin Highway.
According to authorities, a woman was on foot attempting to cross Austin Highway at the Mount Calvary Drive intersection when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the woman was struck by a silver motor vehicle. The vehicle allegedly fled the scene, the person(s) inside failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim.
The woman suffered injuries of unknown severity; she was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identity of the victim—are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
