Dallas, TX — January 30, 2024, Gary Mock was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian versus car accident at approximately 8:30 p.m.. along Wheatland Road.
According to authorities, 50-year-old Gary Mock was on foot on Wheatland Road in the vicinity of the Ellington Drive intersection when the accident occurred.
The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, Mock was struck by a westbound vehicle on Wheatland Road. He came to rest on the north shoulder of the roadway. The person(s) in the suspect vehicle reportedly fled the scene, failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim. Reports state that Mock incurred fatal injuries as a result of the collision and was declared deceased at the scene.
