Irving, TX — September 2, 2023, Zavian Zyshun Coats was injured in a collision with a commercial vehicle around 6:05 a.m. on Loop 12 in Irving.
According to authorities, Mr. Coat’s Ford F-150 collided with a Volvo semi-truck while the two vehicles were heading north in the 2000 block of S. Loop 12. The impact reportedly caused the F-150 to lose its front bumper and to veer toward its driver’s side. Investigators say a northbound Toyota Camry then struck the bumper.
The victim was reportedly taken to a hospital with serious injuries. No other injuries were reported. Authorities have not released any other details at this time.
