San Antonio, TX — September 17, 2023, two teenagers were injured following a single-vehicle accident at around 9:11 p.m. along U.S. Highway 281.
According to preliminary information about the crash from authorities, the incident happened near the intersection of U.S. 281 and East Craig Place.

Authorities said in public statements that the two victims, both 17-year-old girls, were passengers in a Jeep Gladiator traveling along the highway. It appears the vehicle lost control and crashed along the side of the road.
The two girls were thrown from the vehicle, resulting in reportedly incapacitating injuries. There did not appear to be any other injuries resulting from the crash. Authorities at this time allege that the driver of the Jeep, also a 17-year-old, was under the influence of alcohol. This and other details cannot be confirmed at this time.
