How Did This Accident Occur?

When two vehicles going the same direction collide, the first thought most people will have is one of the drivers was on their phone. Frankly, that’s the first thing I look into after any serious car accident comes across my desk. But just because other factors are less common doesn’t make them worth ignoring. Anything from road hazards to defective brakes to a medical condition could have contributed to this accident. Without clear evidence one way or the other, the last thing anyone should do is jump to conclusions.

Hopefully authorities are taking time to secure the vehicles and give the crash the attention it deserves. If they’re not, victims and families will typically notice when they’re not getting any clear answers, and that’s when they’re left wondering what to do next. Independent investigators can step in and pick up the slack, and oftentimes they’ll get better results than a simple police report. But it’s still best for everyone when people aren’t left waiting around for answers.
