Amarillo, TX — June 25, 2023, a teenager was injured due to a single-vehicle car accident at around 2:34 a.m. along Mirror Street.
Officials said in their preliminary statements that the incident took place just off the intersection so North Mirror Street and NE 20th Avenue.
According to current public information, an 18-year-old and a 16-year-old were in a Chevy pickup said to be going southbound along Mirror Street. For reasons not confirmed at this time, the vehicle ran off the side of the roadway and crashed into a pole.
The 18-year-old driver in the vehicle reportedly had incapacitating injuries. The 16-year-old passenger did not appear to have any injuries. Right now, additional details about the cause of the crash remain unconfirmed.
