How Did This Accident Occur?
Most people usually blame the driver of the larger vehicle for causing a crash like this one on Carter Drive, but in my experience things are seldom that simple.
A complete examination of the crash — based on witness statements, evidence from the scene, data from the vehicle and any available security of dashcam footage — should separate facts from assumptions and guesswork, so the victim’s family gets the answers they deserve. That is the most important thing for families in the aftermath of a fatal crash.
