Minidoka County, ID — July 22, 2023, a Kimberly man was killed and one person was hurt following a commercial truck accident on Highway 25 Saturday afternoon.
According to information about the fatal truck wreck, it happened at around 2:15 p.m. in the area of Highway 25 mile marker 43.
Details at this time suggest that a 41-year-old Kimberly man was in a cargo truck that was going westbound along the highway. For reasons unclear, that truck ended up crossing paths and colliding with a hay hauler that was going eastbound.
As a result of that head-on collision, the Kimberly man sustained fatal injuries. One person from the hay hauler had to be airlifted to a hospital. Their condition was not specified. At this time, there are no further details surrounding the crash that can be confirmed. Investigations continue.
