Irving, TX — November 15, 2024, Jerome Scholz was killed in a two-vehicle accident about 4:40 p.m. in the 7800 block of Valley View Lane.
Jerome Scholz, 38, was riding a motorcycle near Interstate 635/LBJ Freeway when he was involved in a crash with another vehicle, authorities said.
Jerome Scholz died as a result of his injuries a short time later at a local hospital, according to authorities.
Additional details about the other vehicle or its driver have not been reported.
Irving police reportedly said a preliminary investigation indicates the other vehicle failed to yield while turning before the collision with Jerome Scholz’s motorcycle.
There have not been any reports of charges or citations in the wake of the crash.
Authorities said the investigation into the crash is continuing.
