San Patricio County, TX — December 5, 2023, Destiny Leiba was killed in a two-car accident which took place sometime in the afternoon along S.H. 35.
According to reports, the accident occurred in the northbound lane of S.H. 35 in the vicinity of the Aransas Pass exit.
The causal factors in the incident are under investigation. It has been stated, however, that 24-year-old Leiba—the sole occupant of her vehicle—was ejected from her car during the accident and was declared dead at the scene. The other people involved in the accident who had been occupying the second vehicle reportedly incurred only minor injures.
The accident is under active investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the incident were not specifically reported on; however, photographs taken of the scene which have been published in the news depict apparently cloudy skies and dry roads.
