Houston, TX — April 19, 2025, a man sustained injuries as the result of a car accident at around 2:44 a.m. along Blodgett Street.
According to initial details from authorities, the incident took place at the intersection of Blodgett and Ennis Street.
Investigators said that a 32-year-old man was in a Tesla going along Blodgett. Due to events unclear, the vehicle crashed. As a result, the man driving the Tesla sustained serious injuries.
There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. Right now, additional details are unavailable.

People often see “Tesla” and immediately start wondering about all of the features that may have malfunctioned. Frankly, that should be a concern following any serious accident. I can’t begin to count how many accidents come across my desk where authorities never bothered inspecting the victim’s vehicle for potential defects. There may have been issues that led to the crash, or there may have been safety feature faults that resulted in serious injuries which otherwise could have been prevented. That’s why there usually needs to be independent investigations to make sure something like a defect gets attention. Hopefully investigators gave it attention here.
