Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

When there’s only one person involved in a crash, and they suffer serious injuries, it’s important to know that someone eventually followed up to get their side of the story. Obviously, evidence should be the primary focus of any accident investigation. But when authorities fail to at least speak with someone who was taken to a hospital, it calls into question if they’re trying to tell the full story or just looking for something the victim did wrong. Whatever happened here, there should still be a fair and unbiased account of what went down. Sometimes, that requires more than just relying solely on the authorities.
