Accident Report

Kingfisher County, OK — June 1, 2026, Alysha Bidwell-McDonagh and Alexus Pendleton were killed in an afternoon truck accident on State Highway 33.

Authorities said a westbound vehicle collided with an oncoming semi-truck when it bounced into the wrong lane after clipping a pickup that was turning onto 2740 Road.

The two women in the vehicle — 20-year-old Alysha Bidwell-McDonagh and 23-year-old Alexus Pendleton of Greenfield — died in the crash west of Kingfisher, according to authorities.

A passenger in the truck suffered unspecified injuries, authorities said.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Kingfisher County crash at this time. The accident is still under investigation.

How Did This Accident Occur?

This crash seems to have unfolded quickly, leaving a lot for authorities to look into as they investigate this crash. Was the pickup on the road or the shoulder as it prepared to turn? Did the other vehicle hit the pickup because of driver error or did it have a problem with its steering mechanism? Was there anything the semi-truck could have done to avoid this collision? The best way to answer these questions is to wait until the investigation is completed.

Authorities likely will work to reconstruct this accident by poring over witness statements, physical evidence, data from the vehicles and any video footage. Cell phone records could show what each driver was doing at the time of the crash, but an outside expert likely will be needed if investigators suspect a mechanical issue contributed to this accident.

Most law enforcement agencies don’t have the time or training for the kind of forensic examination required as part of this investigation, in my experience, but these women’s families deserve to know as much as possible about what happened on S.H. 33.
