Cowboy's Red River Has Had 16 Allegation Regarding Poor Alcohol Service
Cowboy's Red River has been a longtime staple of the Dallas nightlife. With a large dancefloor and plenty of alcohol to keep patrons happy, the Western-themed drinking hole has had success with loyal Texans. However, with this growth and popularity has come allegations of improper alcohol service, which could become costly to the establishment in the future.
Simply because a Cowboy's Red River location was investigated, it does not mean that they are a location that displays a pattern of violating TABC code. Conversely, if a location has been investigated and investigators determine that they are not in violation of TABC code, that does not mean that the alleged violation did not take place. At times, sufficient evidence required to prove that either criminal or administrative violations occurred is hard to come by. Allegation:
On 05/11/2018, it was alleged that this location had sold alcohol to a minor.
TABC investigators closed the case on 06/22/2018, taking no further action against this location.
Dallas - 10310 W Technology Boulevard
Allegation:
On 09/07/2017, this location was alleged to have substituted a brand without consent.
Later, on 09/22/2017, TABC investigators closed the investigation with no further action taken.
Dallas - 10310 W Technology Boulevard
Allegation:
On 12/12/2016, this location was alleged to have allowed an intoxicated licensee sell to an intoxicated person.
TABC investigators closed their investigation of the matter on 03/08/2017.

Allegation:
A Dallas resident alleged that a minor was selling alcohol on 10/17/2016.
TABC investigators decided to close the investigation on 12/12/2016, issuing a restrained penalty .
Then, a member of the Dallas community alleged that this location had sold alcohol to a minor on 05/27/2016.
TABC investigators decided to close the investigation on 07/20/2016, without taking any further action on the matter.
Finally, on 02/24/2016, it was alleged that a person working at Cowboy's Red Rivers as an employee was intoxicated while on shift.
TABC investigators closed the investigation on 4/2/2016 with no further action taken.
As you can see, there seems to be a pattern of failure to adhere to TABC guidelines, however, the TABC can only act on actionable evidence. Most of the time, the evidence is sparse if not totally absent when investigators are called to investigate a potential violation, which makes contacting the authorities that much more important to making sure that your community is a safer place.
