Accident Report

Dallas, TX — May 5, 2026, Joana Arechega-Cruz was injured in a car accident at about 12:45 a.m. in the 2800 block of Kings Road.

A preliminary accident report indicates that a southbound 2023 Dodge Charger allegedly swerved to avoid a pedestrian near Bradford Drive and crashed into a northbound 2016 GMC Suburban.

A passenger in the Suburban, 33-year-old Joana Arechega-Cruz, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report, while the driver and two other passengers were listed as possibly injured.

The Dodge driver was listed as possibly injured as well, the report states.
