How Did This Accident Occur?
When vehicles going the opposite direction crash, it’s typically due to inattention or distracted driving. For example, a driver not properly looking for cross traffic might fail to yield making a turn. A driver on their phone might drift over the center line. It’s also possible, though, that something unusual happened. Even something like a steering mechanism malfunction caused by a defect should get attention from investigators. If that kind of stuff goes overlooked just cause it’s unlikely (something I see far too often from authorities), important evidence could slip through the cracks.
Hopefully this crash is left in more professionals hands so those involved get clear answers. In the meantime, anyone who has information or thoughts they’d like to share can do so in the comments.
