Accident Report
Sherman, TX — May 12, 2026, Jalasia Brown and two others were injured in an alleged drunk driver accident at about 6:45 p.m. on East Lamar Street/State Highway 56.
A preliminary accident report indicates that a westbound 2021 GMC Yukon collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox that was heading north on South Grand Avenue.
Chevrolet driver Jalasia Brown, 20, and two women riding with her were seriously injured in the crash, according to the report.
The GMC driver, who was listed as possibly injured, was charged with intoxication assault with a vehicle, the report states.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Grayson County crash at this time.
