Harris County, TX — March 7, 2024, Aracelly Rendon was injured in a hit-and-run car accident at approximately 4:50 p.m. along Bissonnet Street.
According to authorities, 80-year-old Aracelly Rendon was traveling in a northbound Honda Accord on Beckford Drive at the Bissonnett Street intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a southbound Chevy Tahoe collided with the Accord in the intersection before allegedly fleeing the scene. The collision caused the Honda to go into a spin, stopping after colliding with an electric pole on the southeast corner of the intersection. The people in the Tahoe left without rendering aid or assistance of any sort to the victim. The abandoned Tahoe was apparently found abandoned in the area.
Rendon incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the hit-and-run accident. She was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medial services in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
