Crawford County, PA — December 11, 2023, Devon McWilliams was killed and one other person was injured in a truck accident around 8:00 a.m. along Route 8.
According to authorities, 23-year-old Devon McWilliams was traveling in a southbound Toyota Corolla on Route 8 approaching the Dutch Hill Road intersection when the accident occurred.
For unknown reasons, the Toyota was unable to safely maintain its lane of travel, veering left of center into the northbound lane. This resulted in a collision with an oncoming 18-wheeler. McWilliams reportedly sustained fatal injuries due to the crash, having been declared deceased at the scene. The 59-year-old driver of the 18-wheeler sustained possible injuries and was transported to a local hospital in order to receive treatment.
