Corpus Christi, TX — December 9, 2023, one person was killed and another was injured in a car accident at approximately 11:00 at night along Weber Rd.
According to authorities, the accident took place on Weber Road in the vicinity of the Saratoga Boulevard intersection.
The causal factors of the incident are unconfirmed. Reports indicate that a passenger vehicle had been southbound on Weber Road before veering off of the road, across the sidewalk, and into a palm tree. The driver of the vehicle was declared deceased at the scene of the accident. The passenger in the vehicle—a 13-year-old boy—reportedly sustained suspected severe injuries and was taken to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive treatment.
