San Antonio, TX — May 28, 2023, one person was fatally injured following an accident at around 10:30 p.m. along Interstate 35.
Preliminary details about the fatal accident say that it involved multiple vehicles.
Authorities suggest that a person was walking at the time and attempted to cross over lanes of I-35 near Walzem Road. While doing so, however, several vehicles struck the pedestrian in the roadway. That person died as a result. Authorities have not publicly identified the victim in most recent reports.
It’s unclear at this time if all of the drivers involved stopped and spoke with authorities. There is no mention of pending charges or citations at this time. Authorities also have yet to release specific factors that may have contributed to the accident. Investigations are still ongoing.
