A collision in east Lubbock claimed the life of 31-year-old Jenna Garcia when her minivan collided with a semi-truck. The crash happened just before 6:15 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Olive Avenue and Slaton Highway. Garcia, who was driving south on Olive, entered the intersection and allegedly collided with the eastbound semi. She was pronounced dead at the scene, while the semi driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
