Two people were hospitalized Sunday morning following a three-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck and an electric vehicle on Route 23 near Marengo, Illinois. The Marengo Fire & Rescue Districts responded to the 3800 block of North Route 23 around 10:50 a.m. and found all three vehicles spread across roughly 1,200 feet of roadway. Officials reported moderate to heavy damage, and both injured individuals were transported to area hospitals. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
