Marietta, GA — June 27, 2023, six people sustained injuries following an accident involving a semi-truck and two daycare buses along I-75.
Preliminary information about the crash has been released by authorities which says the incident happened at around 8:40 a.m. along main lanes of the interstate near the intersection with South Marietta Parkway.
According to current reports, two daycare buses from Primrose School of Wade Green were traveling along the highway. For reasons which are not clear at this time, a collision occurred where a commercial truck crashed into the back of one of the buses, and that bus then hit the back of the second bus.
As a result of the collision, three children and three adults were treated for injuries. Those injuries were said to be non-life-threatening. Right now, there are no reports of charges or citations. Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing at this time.
