Portland, OR — June 12, 2025, a motorcyclist was killed in a truck accident at about 11:30 p.m. in a construction zone on southbound Interstate 5.
Authorities said a motorcycle crashed into the back of a construction truck that was blocking a lane where workers were present near North Killingsworth Street.
The motorcyclist, whose name has not been made public yet, died at the scene of the crash, according to authorities.
The driver of the construction truck, which had a protective bumper for such impacts, was not injured, authorities said.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Multnomah County crash at this time. The accident is still under investigation.
