Hunt County, TX — March 4, 2024, Trey Robert Zackery was injured in a motorcycle versus car accident just after 5:00 p.m. along Wesley Street.
According to authorities, 24-year-old Trey Robert Zackery was traveling on a southbound Kawasaki motorcycle on Wesley Street in the vicinity north of Woodrow Boulevard when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a northbound Jeep Grand Cherokee attempted a left turn across the southbound lane of the roadway in order to enter a private drive at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front end of the motorcycle and the back-right side of the Jeep. The crash ejected Zackery from the motorcycle; he incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck and was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
