Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

People tend to think train accidents are always one-sided, considering trains generally just follow the tracks. But it’s always important to consider extenuating possible circumstances. Mechanical issues, faulty crossing signals, crossings with obstructed views or insufficient lighting, alcohol, medical conditions, confusing crossing design, etc. Regardless of what happened, it’s up to the evidence to speak for itself.
