Hays County, TX — July 30, 2024, Terry Laughlin and another person were injured in a car accident at approximately 5:30 p.m. along Ranch to Market 12.
According to authorities, 64-year-old Terry Laughlin and a 33-year-old man were traveling in a southbound Ford Explorer on R.R. 12 in the vicinity south of Brookmeadow Drive when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a westbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck occupied by a 56-year-old man attempted to exit an apartment complex parking lot and enter the roadway at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to roadway traffic at a stop sign. This resulted in a collision between the front-left quarter of the pickup truck and the front-right quarter of the Ford.
Laughlin suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. The man from the pickup truck was moderately hurt, as well, according to reports. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
