Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

Something that stands out to me here is the description of the injuries. A teenager in a slightly bigger vehicle hit on their passenger side ending up more seriously injured than the other driver in the smaller vehicle could be a red flag. There are certainly reasonable explanations for this sort of difference, but it can also be a sign something that should have reduced the severity of the impact for the teen driver failed to do so. Was that something authorities at least looked into here?
