Socorro, TX — June 30, 2023, Roman Morales Montes and Margarita Garcia were injured in a car accident around 12:25 a.m. on IH 10 A in Socorro.
Sources report Mr. Montes’s Nissan Maxima and Mrs. Garcia’s Ford F-150 were both traveling east on IH 10A when the Ford F-150 allegedly attempted to merge in front of Mr. Montes and collided with the front passenger side corner of the Maxima. The collision purportedly forced both vehicles off the road and into a metal guard rail.
According to investigators, Roman Morales Montes sustained serious injuries and Margarita Garcia suffered minor injuries.
Reports indicate authorities have not determined the cause of the crash.
