San Antonio, TX — April 29, 2024, two people were injured following a pedestrian versus hit-and-run car accident at around 2:00 a.m. along Austin Street.
According to authorities, a man an a woman were on foot on Austin Street in the vicinity of Interstate 37 when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, they were struck by an allegedly black Jeep. The Jeep reportedly fled the scene, the person(s) inside failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victims. The male pedestrian suffered injuries serious enough to merit transport to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive treatment. The female pedestrian reportedly received treatment of minor injuries at the scene.
Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identities of the victims—are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
