Houston, TX — April 30, 2023, a woman was fatally injured as the result of a pedestrian accident that happened at around 3:30 a.m. along Telephone Road.
Preliminary details released by Houston Police officials say that the collision took place north of the Telephone Road and Sam Houston Tollway intersection.
Their statements indicate that a woman was walking at the time and apparently attempted to cross the roadway. While in the northbound lanes, police believe that a Dodge Ram hit the woman. This resulted in the woman suffering fatal injuries.
At this time, the woman remains unidentified, and officials say only that she may have been 63. No one else appeared to be hurt. Police did not report any charges or citations following the accident. HPD and Harris County officials continue investigators details surrounding the fatal accident.
