Castroville, TX — July 6, 2023, one person was injured in a commercial vehicle collision around 3:36 p.m. on Athens St. in Castroville.
According to authorities, the victim was in a northwest-facing Ford F-350 that was allegedly attempting to turn left to go west on U.S. Hwy. 90 when the pickup truck purportedly collided with a Kenworth semi-truck. Officials report the Kenworth was veering into the unprotected left-turn lane and facing west on the highway when the crash occurred.
The victim was reportedly sitting in the rear passenger seat and sustained serious injuries in the collision. No other injuries were reported.
