Authorities indicate that on May 21, an 18-wheeler driver, whose name has not yet been released, was severely injured in a collision with a stalled vehicle on I-20.
According to reports, the crash caused the 18-wheeler to overturn onto the I-20 service road, trapping the driver inside the vehicle. Responding authorities freed the driver from the overturned truck and transported him to a nearby hospital.
The driver sustained severe injuries and is in critical condition. No other injuries were reported.
