Authorities indicate that on July 17, a collision occurred when a Pontiac rear-ended a truck at State Road 37 and 16th Street in Bedford. According to reports, the truck was stopped in the intersection when it was hit from behind, forcing it to crash into another non-moving vehicle directly in front of it.
Officials confirmed that the Pontiac driver sustained severe injuries in the collision and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
