Coleman County, TX — March 29, 2023, an Oklahoma man sustained injuries as the result of an accident where a semi-truck crashed and overturned on the highway.
Authorities said that the accident happened at around 12:40 a.m. along Highway 206 near County Road 180.
Officials say that a 30-year-old Rush Springs, Oklahoma man was in an International truck going northbound on the highway. For reasons unconfirmed, the truck lost control and overturned off-road along the fence line.

The Oklahoma man sustained incapacitating injuries due to the accident. No one else appeared to be involved. While unconfirmed, authorities suggested that they were informed fatigue was a factor as the driver was working all day. I can’t say if that is what happened, but it can raise some serious concerns. Folks don’t often realize the role that someone’s employer can play in crashes like this. A crash I handled a while back, for example, involved a company forcing drivers to violate hours of service laws to meet ludicrous deadlines. Could it be something similar happened here?
