Beyond this, additional details are unconfirmed. When it comes to single-vehicle wrecks, that can be concerning. I get a lot of calls from families who find authorities are not getting them the answers they deserve. Many of those calls involve single-vehicle accidents. They’re just not a high priority for a lot of departments, meaning authorities may move on quickly or outright overlook complex possible factors due to a lack of experience or equipment. Could it be there’s still more to this story yet to be addressed, or have authorities managed to alleviate any doubts the victim’s loved ones were left with?
San Antonio, TX — May 14, 2024, one person was killed in a single-car rollover accident shortly before 12:30 a.m. along San Pedro Avenue.
According to authorities, one person was traveling in a Jeep in the southbound lanes of San Pedro Avenue near U.S. 281 when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Jeep failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It reportedly veered off of the roadway and into a median where it crashed into an embankment before coming to a stop and becoming engulfed in flames. The sole occupant of the vehicle suffered fatal injuries due to the accident and was declared deceased at the scene.
