Loving County, TX — June 21, 2023, a Midland man was injured due to a truck accident that happened at around 2:00 p.m. on Highway 302.
Preliminary details about the crash said that the accident happened in the area of Highway 302 mile marker 200.
According to officials, a 26-year-old Midland man was in a Ford F-250 that was going eastbound along the highway. Authorities believe that an oncoming Dodge 5500 drifted left of center. This resulted in the two vehicles colliding, sending both off-road.
Due to the collision, the Midland man sustained injuries said to be incapacitating. The driver of the Dodge did not have any confirmed injuries. There appeared to be recommendations for the Dodge driver to face a citation for failure to drive in a single lane. Current information about the crash is unavailable pending investigations.
