Beaumont, TX — March 27, 2026, Lakisha Owens was injured in an alleged drunk driver accident just after 10 p.m. in the 3200 block of Calder Street.

A preliminary accident report indicates that an eastbound 2013 Acura RDX collided with a westbound 2016 Chevrolet Traverse near the Interstate 10 frontage road.

A passenger in the Chevrolet, 39-year-old Lakisha Owens, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report, while the driver and another passenger were not hurt.
