Garland, TX — May 20, 2023, Kelvin Harrison, Danielle Harrison, and Damon Hernandez Jr. were injured after a car accident at 9:23 p.m. along I-30.
Preliminary details from investigators indicate that the crash took place in the area of Broadway Avenue along the westbound lanes of I-30.
According to authorities, it appears that 54-year-old Kelvin Harrison and 49-year-old Danielle Harrison were in a Chevy Camaro traveling along the interstate. For reasons which are not confirmed at this time, a Jeep Wrangler also traveling eastbound crashed into the back of the Camaro. This caused the Harrisons’ Camaro to lose control and crash into the median barrier. The Jeep continued off-road to the right where it overturned.
The Jeep driver was identified by authorities as 37-year-old Damon Hernandez Jr. Hernadez reportedly had incapacitating injuries due to the crash. Kelvin and Danielle Harrison were both said to have non-incapacitating injuries.
Right now, there is not enough information to confirm the cause of the crash. Additional details are pending further investigations.
