Gray County, TX — June 17, 2023, Kelly Elliott was injured as the result of a car accident at around 9:30 p.m. along N. Ballard Street.
Authorities said that the accident happened along southbound lanes of North Ballard Street near the intersection of Browning Road.
According to current information, 54-year-old Kelly Elliott was in a Chevy Silverado that was going southbound along North Ballard. As the vehicle rounded a curve, it appears the pickup somehow veered off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle continued off-road where it then crashed into a building.
As a result of the crash, Elliott reportedly sustained incapacitating injuries. Reports at this time do not mention anyone else being involved in the crash. Weather was brought up as a possible contributing factor, but this and other possible factors cannot be confirmed pending further investigations.
