Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

At this time, it’s unclear if authorities ever located the driver involved in the accident. If not, then hopefully they continue to put as much information out to the public as possible. Generally speaking, the public is a vital resource when it comes to identifying runaway drivers. Neighbors, co-workers, friends, and other members of the community could be able to connect the dots and come forward. I’ve even had cases where a runaway driver’s girlfriend turned them in because they wanted to do the right thing. Hopefully there will be a resolution here, as well, so there can be appropriate consequences for this accident.
