Have authorities looked into why there was only one person injured here? Maybe nothing unusual happened here, or maybe the current public information is leaving out something that could explain things. Generally speaking, though, people in the same vehicle during a crash will generally have at least similar injuries. One person being seriously injured while one isn’t hurt at all is either seriously bad luck or a sign that there may have been a defect in the vehicle.

For example, we had a case not long ago involving a defective seatbelt. The pretensioner failed, so a driver ended up being thrown from their seat despite wearing their seatbelt properly. Authorities simply missed that crucial details, and frankly, that’s to be expected.

Authorities rarely have the tools or training for things like defects. So when I see serious red flags like what I’m seeing here, I have to wonder if something important is being overlooked. Getting answers for someone hurt in a crash is important, but there could be an issue putting other lives in danger.
