Hutto, TX — December 29, 2021, Jorge Santos was killed as the result of a work accident where he fell from a rooftop along Aoudad Road.
Investigators said that the incident happened at around 9:30 a.m. along Aoudad Road off Redfish Lane. This appears to be a residential development on the northwest corner of Limmer Loop and FM 119/Ed Schmidt Boulevard.
Preliminary details provided by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration said that 58-year-old Jorge Santos was working on a rooftop during a construction project at a residence. For reasons which were not specified, Santos fell from the roof, resulting in fatal injuries. It’s unclear if any other workers were on-site.
Right now, further information remains unclear. OSHA statements included possible rule violations and recommendations for potential penalties, but the current status of their investigations is unclear at this time.
