Falls County, TX — August 23, 2024, Jesse Auzston Jr. was killed and another person was injured in a car accident shortly before 5:45 a.m. along S.H. 6.
According to authorities, 22-year-old Jesse Auzston Jr. was traveling as a passenger in a Subaru Ascent with one other person heading northbound on S.H. 6 in the vicinity of C.R. 121 when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the Subaru failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It reportedly veered off of the roadway where it overturned, rolling an unknown number of times before coming to a stop. Auzston suffered reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene. The other person who had been in the vehicle sustained injuries of unknown severity; they were transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
