UPDATE (November 12, 2025): Harris County officials identified the victim as Jeremy Blake Williams Jr.
Missouri City, TX — October 27, 2025, a man was killed as the result of a shooting that took place around 6:22 p.m. outside of a Walmart.
According to preliminary statements, the incident happened in the parking lot of a Walmart located off of Highway 6.
It appears that the victim was in a vehicle in the parking lot when, according to authorities, two people fired shots into the vehicle. As a result, the man in the vehicle sustained fatal gunshot wounds. A young girl in the vehicle apparently was not hurt.
Authorities say that two people were arrested in connection with the accident. Additional details regarding potential charges are pending investigations.

Hopefully investigations are thorough enough here both to ensure there is accountability and to ensure there isn’t anymore danger to the public. That can include investigations into potential security improvements that could be made to this location which might help reduce the chance of violent incidents in the future. That’s something that unfortunately tends to slip through the cracks after these incidents, but taking steps early on can be crucial.
