Jefferson County, NY — July 18, 2023, James Frizzell was injured as the result of a truck rollover accident at around 11:00 a.m. on Odell Road.
Preliminary information about the accident released by the New York State Police indicates that the crash happened in the area of the Town of Rutland off the corner of Odell Road and Knapp Road.
According to officials, 70-year-old James Frizzell was in a semi-truck that was traveling along Odell Road. For reasons not yet confirmed, the truck ended up going off-road and into a ditch. This caused the truck to overturn, crushing the cab.
Emergency services reportedly had to airlift Frizzell from the scene. His injuries, though, were described as non-life-threatening. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the crash. Right now, additional details surrounding the accident are unavailable pending investigations.
