Arlington, TX — April 23, 203, Geneva Romero, Esteban Piceno, and Lidia Hernandez were injured in a car crash around 3:32 a.m. on I-30 E. in Arlington.

Officials report Ms. Romero’s tan 2007 Honda Civic was traveling east on I-30 about to drive under the N. Collins St. overpass when her vehicle was allegedly rear-ended by a silver 2010 Honda Civic. Mr. Piceno and Ms. Hernadez were reportedly passengers in the 2010 Civic.

The impact purportedly caused Ms. Romero’s Civic to spin and come to rest in the center lane with its nose pointing south. The 2010 Civic purportedly stopped in the right lane with its nose pointed northeast.

Sources say Geneva Romero was transported by ambulance to Medical City Arlington with serious injuries and that both Esteban Piceno and Lidia Hernandez were treated at the crash site for minor injuries.

The driver of the 2010 Civic was reportedly uninjured, and authorities recommended charging him with driving while intoxicated as his toxicology results showed him over the legal limit of 0.08.
