Brazoria County, TX — September 3, 2023, Esvin Peralta Morales and possibly two others were injured due to a car accident around midnight along Highway 36.
Statements from authorities indicate that the incident happened at approximately 12:51 a.m. in the area of Highway 36 and County Road 20.

According to officials, 22-year-old Esvin Peralta Morales was in a Toyota Tacoma going southbound along the highway. A 34-year-oldwoman and a 37-year-old man were in a Toyota C-HR that had run out of gas along the southbound lanes. Details from authorities say the vehicles lights had been turned off, following which the Tacoma crashed into it.
As a result of the collision, Peralta Morales had injuries described as non-incapacitating. One person from the disabled vehicle reportedly had incapacitating injuries while injuries for the other could not be confirmed. Right now, authorities suggest the driver of the C-HR had been under the influence of alcohol, however no official charges were confirmed. The accident is still under investigation at this time.
