Dallas, TX — March 27, 2024, Dioselen Zamarripa and a child were injured in a car accident shortly before 8:45 p.m. along Garland Road.
According to authorities, 25-year-old Dioselen Zamarripa and a 5-year-old girl were traveling in a northeast bound Nissan Altima on Garland Road approaching the Lakeland Drive intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the Altima was rear-ended by a Toyota 4Runner. The collision caused the Altima to veer left over the concrete median curb dividing the roadway where it was involved in a secondary collision with a southwest bound Mazda.
Zamarripa and the young girl both sustained reportedly severe injuries as a result of the accident. They were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
